Annick Donkers is a photographer and visual artist from Antwerp, Belgium. She has experience in photojournalism, documentary and portrait photography. She has a Masters’ degree in Psychology, but decided to specialize in photography, her real passion. She has received a grant from the Mexican Ministry of Foreign Affairs in 2008 and was selected to participate in the 2008 Seminar on Contemporary Photography at the Centro de la Imagen in Mexico City. Her work has been published and exhibited internationally. She has won several awards including at the Sony Awards, IPA awards and Px3 Prix de la Photo. She is publishing her first photobook “Un-identified”, result of the “Incubadora de fotolibros” workshop in collaboration with HYDRA in Mexico City. She currently lives between Antwerp and Mexico City.
